There is no denying that health and fitness can be one of the most challenging lifestyle changes you ever undertake throughout your life time. Many people (my self-included) can spend years trying to find a health and fitness plan that will actually last past the first few weeks.

Especially in today's society, health and fitness is everywhere. There are endless amounts of fad diets and quick fixes on the market, which can offer some quick results; however very few of these offer a long term health solution and often result in you gaining more weight than when you started once you stop. Leaving you feeling disappointed, as most of these fads are simply not sustainable long term.

That is why at Just in Fitness Services we are all about creating a sustainable fitness journey that is realistic, something that you come to enjoy and changes your whole perception on health and fitness. I am a firm believer that until you change your mind set about health and fitness; looking at it as a lifestyle change, not just an exercise routine, it is very hard to stick to a training program long term.

One of the best ways I have found over the years to stick to anything is to have help and support. This is why I offer all of my client’s advice on nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle, and this is why I put such a heavy focus on building a support group. Offering additional training & challenge days with all of our clients as this can be a great way to stay motivated and incorporate fitness into your lifestyle.

Last year I was thrilled to see some of my clients transform the way they viewed fitness and it was my up most pleasure to participate with many of them in some fantastic challenges throughout the year and watch the joy they found by achieving things they never through possible!

This year I hope we can participate in some more great events. I have already started a team for the 2017 Stadium Stomp event at the Gabba, tackling some 5000 + stairs, on the 30th of July 2017.

We will be back again supporting the annual Twilight Bay Run at Wynnum on the 23rd of September 2017 and this year we hope to also enter the kids into the 1km kids fun run making it a great night for the whole family.

I will also be tackling my first FULL Marathon this year at the 2017 Gold Coast Marathon in July and I am always looking for people to join me in a training session and/ or come along and give one of the many events a go over the weekend.

I will continue to post more updates on the events throughout the year on Facebook, so make sure you are following our page & be sure to check in regularly.
